Ok I must say that when I first saw this movie I wasn't impressed. I was really looking forward to a good scare, and I was so upset when I didn't get it. But as time went by and I began to piece the puzzle together I got quite excited about this movie. For years I've been conditioned, as a horror fan, to think that if a horror movie has no gore or violence it sucks.
Then I had a rude awakening that what I thought was bullshit. Thank you Blair Witch!
The plot behind this movie is that three film students head into the Black Hills of Maryland is search of a mythic witch known as The Blair Witch to make a documentry on. What they don't expect is that there really is some sort of supernatural force at work in the woods. Now the interesting think that Voodoo Girl and I have found out is that the meaning of the rock piles can be found in the bible.
They tell you that in the movie, but i never caught it till i watched it on closed caption. I'm still trying to figure out what exact body parts of Josh were in the bundle.
I have to say that I really liked this movie because it was a modern horror movie that used the old school scare tatics.
I'd recomend this to anyone, and for the people who don't like it. Pull your head out of your ass.
